Based in the Greater Los Angeles area, my journey behind the microphone goes all the way back to 1979, voicing and producing radio commercials for stations in Southern California—back when we edited audio by physically splicing magnetic tape with a razor blade!

Over the decades, my passion for audio only grew. In November 2004, I launched the award-winning Lifespring! podcast, the world's first Christian podcast not based on repurposed church sermons. That early start earned me titles like "Pioneering Podcaster" and the "OG Godcaster," and even landed me mentions in the New York Times and the book Tricks of the Podcasting Masters.

Since then, I’ve hosted and produced nearly 5,000 podcast episodes, including the Lifespring! One Year Bible (now in its 16th season—because the Bible truly is the ultimate audiobook!). After decades behind the mic and training extensively with renowned voiceover coaches Pat Fraley and M.J. Lallo, I spend my days specializing in commercial, industrial, and Christian voiceovers.

Outside of the studio, my greatest joy is my family. I’m a blessed husband, a dad to three amazing sons and their wonderful wives, and a grandpa to seven grandkids who keep me on my toes.
